The quick spread of coronavirus has meant that an increasing number of people are having to self-isolate to keep themselves and others safe. Unfortunately, many of these people — especially the elderly — live by themselves and the loneliness can be overwhelming, particularly for the most vulnerable. Becky Wass, a freelance copywriter from Falmouth, Cornwall, decided to do something about it and designed a postcard for people to post to their elderly neighbors or anyone they know who feels lonely or isolated during the pandemic. Her Facebook post, together with her husband's tweet went viral and people can't get enough of the heartwarming gesture. Here are some of the responses from people who used and benefited from Becky's brilliant idea and it shows how good humanity can be when they come together in the face of a crisis.
