'His bond with Adam is really unique': Lonely Rescued Donkey Gets Adopted and Meets the Man of His Dreams (Video)

We love animals for a whole lot of reasons. Endless reasons. But one of them - one of our favorite things about animals - is the bonds that they have with others. And the bonds that they have with us. Seriously, some of the stories that we have seen are so insane you almost wouldn't believe them. We have read about a diver befriending a giant fish and being friends with it for 30 years. We have seen a a giant shoebill falling in love with its zookeeper, having the most obvious crush on him. We have read about a heartwarming 37-year friendship between a man and a swan that he rescued. 

And while it's true that we have never been quite so lucky as to have one of the meowgical stories happen to us, we sure do love reading about them. And we may be ever so slightly jealous of the bond that we are writing about today - between this man and this rescued donkey. Because it is just so precious.
