'This poor cat [was] struggling on the side of the road': Couple rescues neglected feline who escaped the cage she was locked in for years, adopting her and then saving her cellmate

Rehoming a cat is a really difficult thing to do for anyone who loves cats, but sometimes, on rare occasions, it is the right thing to do. It's the only thing to do. If your family member ends up being extremely allergic to cats… that might be one of those times. We feel for the original cat owner in this video, because we would have had the hardest time parting with our cats in this situation as well… but we're also mad at them. Because they did the wrong thing. Instead of finding new homes for them, they neglected their cats. For years. 

It's lucky that one of the cats escaped her cage, because that's how it was found by the new couple who adopted her - and her cellmate. And although we are sure that some of the fear and trauma of those years will always remain in the hearts of these cats, we are so, so thankful and happy that they now have a new and deserving home to live the rest of their lives in.
