It's finally happening! Pokémon is getting an official LEGO set! After years of fan-made builds, knockoff sets, and endless speculation, LEGO just teased its first-ever Pokémon set, and obviously, they're kicking things off with Pikachu (because who else would it be?).
LEGO dropped a short teaser video (Watch Below) featuring a certain adorable electric mouse's tail being assembled brick by brick, and while they didn't reveal much, we do know one crucial detail: it's launching in 2026. That gives us just a few months to start clearing shelf space (and mentally preparing for the price tag).
If you're thinking, "Wait, haven't there been Pokémon LEGO sets before?"—technically, no. Those were from MEGA, LEGO's other brick-building rival. But this is the real deal, and if Pikachu is just the beginning, that means we could be looking at an entire LEGO Pokémon lineup in the future. Imagine a full-scale Charizard or a buildable Snorlax—the possibilities are endless!
For now, all we can do is wait for the full reveal and hope LEGO doesn't make us sell a kidney to afford it (I already sold one to get the Barad dur set). Stay tuned, Trainers—big things are coming!
