We finally got a real look at Fantastic Four: First Steps and it is everything I hoped for and more. After that first teaser where Marvel basically went, "trust us," the new full trailer just dropped—and folks, it's giving cosmic chaos, family drama, and giant world-eating stakes. Literally.
Let's start with the headline: Galactus is coming, and he brought a shiny silver friend. Yes, that Silver Surfer—except not the one you remember. Julia Garner steps into the (chrome) role as Shalla-Bal, a fresh take on the legendary cosmic herald. This is the first time Shalla-Bal has taken center stage instead of Norrin Radd, and she looks absolutely epic, surfing through space like it's a runway and wielding the Power Cosmic like she was born with it.
Also making their debut? A baby bump. That's right—Sue Storm is pregnant, and yes, comic fans, that probably means Franklin Richards is on the way. You know, the kid who casually bends reality and once recreated an entire universe like it was a school project. No big deal.
This trailer doesn't just tease a fight for Earth—it teases the start of something huge. We're talking multiverse madness, legacy-building, and what might be the bridge between the new First Family and the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday crossover. Oh, and did I mention Ralph Ineson is playing Galactus? That voice alone could destroy planets.
Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters July 25, 2025, and based on this trailer? I'm already in line.
Watch the full trailer below. Trust me—it's... fantastic.
