Cats are known, in general, as solitary creatures. They're independent. They like their space. They don't like to be touched when they don't feel like it. And that's cool. We respect their boundaries. We just want them to thrive as much as they can. But that's not true for all cats. Some cats thrive the most with other cats around them that have the ability to get them to show their true colors.
We see it all the time. We've seen an extra spicy kitten get adopted and instantly convince her brother to join her shenanigans. We have seen a blind feral kitten reunited with his half-blind brother and immediately recognize him and start opening up. We have even seen a momma cat whose babies crossed the rainbow bridge get a kitten and start treating it as her own, instantly feeling a little better. Sometimes, a friend is all you need to start feeling better about life as a whole. And that is certainly true for the "cranky old grandpa" cat in today's video.
