Any which way you look at it, Christmas is a bit of a madhouse. Whether it is warring relatives, a clawminal catto intent on taking down the tyrannical Chrtistmas tree or even just the toiling one has to go through to produce the legendary meal, there is no way of escaping the carnage. But it is nice to observe a moment of peace before it all goes haywire.

Sure, this might look like a recipe for disaster, but in reality this is exactly the thing that is stopping things from descending into disaster. For if the family cat was not given the Christmas tree to ‘play’ in, then they would be all over the food that has been carefully prepawed which would ultimately result in a meal lacking in more than a few dishes and in the ones that remain a double helping of fluffy fur.
