Cats having strange conditions does not mean that they cannot be happy.
We have seen it time and time again. Sometimes, the condition is solved, like that cat who ate a piece of plastic, and the owners managed to figure out what was wrong with him two years down the line. Or the cat with the strange lump on his head who simply needed to have the lump removed for him to start improving. And other times, the cat has something like "wobbly cat syndrome", and it's something that, despite the fact that it has to learn to live with it, it still lives a happy, albeit a little wobbly, life.
The cat in this story did not seem too happy living with his condition. But it wasn't a lifelong problem. Thankfully, it was something that could be healed. The kitty just needed to have someone who cared enough about him, someone who was willing and wanted to actually take the time to try to figure out what was wrong with him, instead of just giving up on him. And thankfully, he found that person. He found himself in the hands of someone who legitimately cared, and the way that he transformed… is incredible.
This cat's mystery illness turned out to be an autoimmune disease that could be treated. It was making him walk strangely and his fur a little less fluffy and soft than it should be. And it took a while for the vets to figure out exactly what it was that he had. But once they did, and once they actually started treating him, he started getting better. Of course, there were still some ups and downs along the way. The kitty would regress and then improve again. Others might have given up on him at this point anyway, saying that he was too much work, but not his human. The woman who was with him fought for him every single step of the way, and it takes only one look at him, close to the end of the video, to see that her effort was not in vain at all.
