This is Quill. Blue-eyed and teddy bear-eared angel of a kitten. Born with contracted ligaments and tendons in both front wrists, which results in Quill's twisted front legs.

Early April, she was brought to Friends for Life Rescue Network, a rescue group in Los Angeles. There she captured the hearts of foster volunteer Mel Lamprey and her husband Zane.
They claim Quill was an "instant cuddle-bug and immediately sought affection from her foster parents."

Her new foster parents named her Quill and started her on physical therapy to help correct her legs

Jacqueline DeAmor, founder of the rescue, explained the therapy to Love Meow, "Her wrists are warmed up with a heating pad. They are then massaged and stretched to relax the tendons and ligaments in hopes of re-aligning the growing bones."
Soon, Quill will be receiving weekly splints to further help her range of motion. Luckily, she seems completely unfazed by all these obstacles in her way, and doesn't even notice she's different from any other kitten.

According to her foster family, Quill is a daddy's girl and has her foster dad completely wrapped around her little paws! She spends a lot of her time on her foster dad's neck, it's her favorite "bed."

She loves to play, explore, venture outside and most of all, cuddle -- purrito style.

Mel and Zane are also foster parents to an older cat named Chester, who immediately took to Quill. "He walked right up and sat next to her like they were best friends," Mel told Love Meow.

Her new brother Chester takes good care of Quill, grooming her and attentive to her needs. And with all this love around her, Quill went from being a tiny 12 ounce kitten to blossoming into a healthy and ultra-sweet cuddle-bug.

Quill's first Easter weekend was a success as she was surrounded by love and family!
