TikToker Loves His Cat Almost as Much as We Do: A Love Story

We all love our pets. Most of us probably even have 1,000 or more blurry pictures and videos of our pets doing mundane and regular things, to which we always coo over and smile at, sharing (nearly) every shot on social media. 

Abram Engle is no exception. His orange tabby, Kurt, has been all over the internet lately, doing simple, regular, cat-like things. And we all love it. Most of all, Abram is clearly his biggest fan and can’t get enough of his feline friend. Kurt isn’t the star of all of Abram’s videos, in fact, Abram simply posts on his personal page. However, it seems that almost 95% of the content on his TikTok consists of his shenanigans with the coolest kitten in the world, Kurt.
 

Most recently, Abram became self aware that his content was being taken over by his lovable pet and, like most of us would, leaned into it and gave us all what we’re asking for. MORE KURT.

Honestly though, if any of us got a shred of acknowledgement for our camera roll of shaky, wet-snooted, head-patting videos of our animals, we would oblige our public. Especially if that means using our personal accounts to flood all of our high school friend's feeds with something we actually want to see. Nobody needs to know anymore about your trip to Greece, Stephanie. And suuuure, it's terrific that Darren got a new Peloton, but aren't we all just begging our algorithms to show us more of what we actually love? Heartwarming things that make us feel alive. What’s even more touching is that Abram clearly loves his cat just as much as we do. They seem to spend every minute together and have nestled into each other’s lives as easily and as fluidly as any pet should. Quite frankly, he’s not wrong when he says that Kurt is absolutely astonishing and a world-class cat. 
 

The cheering crowds are ebbing him off, goading for more and more cat content. We want more sweatshirt videos, more wiggling dancing tummies, more face smooshing– More Kurt. So keep it up Abram, we enjoy your cat as much as you do (perhaps even more).
