On June 21, Earth experienced its first annual solar eclipse of 2020 - but this year, it happened to coincide with summer solstice, the official start of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. In this eclipse, the Moon's distance from Earth meant that the Sun wasn't completely blocked out, creating a 'ring of fire.' This rare event was captured by many photographers around the world.
