One user knew the name of the man who assassinated William McKinley — Leon Czolgosz — from a musical about assassins, while another user cited School House Rock for their memorization of the U.S. Constitution's preamble. The musical Rent might not suffice as a total substitution for math class, but it sure can teach you how many minutes are in a year. Even knowing the Canadian national anthem by heart can win a few extra points on a social studies test in some parts, it seems.
