    A-Line Train

    The A-Line train is a cheap and convenient way to get to downtown Denver from Denver airport. Located in the Jeppesen Terminal, trains depart every 15 minutes during peak times and every 30 minutes at non-peak times (see the schedule here for exact times). Tickets can be purchased on vending machines or ticket booths at the station, an a ticket downtown costs $10.50. It takes 37 minutes from Denver airport to the final station. 

    The A Line train stops at the following stations: 

    • Denver International Airport
    • 61st and Peña Boulevard
    • 40th Avenue and Airport Boulevard
    • Peoria
    • Central Park
    • 40th and Colorado Boulevard
    • 38th and Blake Street
    • Denver Union Station

    Charter Bus

    There are many charter bus companies that operate from Denver airport, however they need to be arranged in advance with the company. See the Denver airport website for a full list of charter bus companies

    Once arriving at Denver airport, go to the Ground Transportation Information Counter and staff will summon the bus from a holding lot. Then make your way to the bus pick up area in Jeppesen Terminal, level 5, island 3 outside doors 511-513 (east side) and 504-506 (west side).

    *Your hotel may offer shuttle buses for their customers. If they offer this service, customers will be picked up from the location mentioned above.

    RTD Bus

    There are a number of Regional Transportation District (RTD) buses that operate to and from Denver airport. To figure out which is the best bus for you, use Google Maps or your favorite navigation app to decide which bus to take. All RTD buses leave from the Denver Airport Station, which is located in the DEN Transit Center, Level 1, adjacent to the Westin Denver International Airport. Fares from the airport (without discounts) cost $10.50.

    Rideshare with Uber or Lyft

    Passengers should request an Uber of Lyft ride after clearing customs. Pickups are made from Level 5, island 5. If you're having trouble finding the pickup area, you can search it on this interactive map.

    Taxi

    Taxis can be ordered on arrival at Denver airport. Passengers can order a taxi at the taxi stand in the airport or can phone a taxi company (see here for a full list of taxi companies available for pickup from Denver airport). 

    The following destinations have flat-rate charges, all inclusive: 

    • Downtown (Zone A) - $56.03
    • Denver Tech. Center (Zone B) - $62.03
    • Boulder (Zone C) - $89.03
    • Tower Road (Zone D) - $29.03
    • Broomfield and Louisville Area:  $71.03 (Yellow Cab only)

    Metered taxis are also available. Costs vary on your destination.

    All taxi pickups are mad from Jeppesen Terminal, level 5, island 1, outside doors 505, 507 and 511 (Terminal East), and doors 506, 510 and 512 (Terminal West).

    Rental Car

    Denver airport has more than 10 major rental car companies (see the full list here) which can be booked in advance or upon arrival at the airport. All rental car companies are located at the airport and can be reached via a shuttle bus, which departs from the Jeppesen Terminal, level 5, island 4, outside doors 505-513 (east side) and 504-512 (west side).
