Best Way To Leave Las Vegas' McCarran Airport

  Taxi

  

  Passengers are able to catch taxis from McCarran airport upon arrival - no prior booking required. Taxis are available in terminal 1 on the east side of baggage claim (outside door exits 1 - 4), and at terminal 3 on level zero, where there are 15 taxi loading docks on the west side of the building for domestic travelers and 7 on the east side for international travelers.   Limousine

  

  Limousines are available at McCarran airport for those who want to travel in style. Although passengers can make a booking prior to arriving, there are also walk-up limousine services available (see a full list here). 

  There are two areas where passengers can book and get picked up by limousines: terminal 1, on the west side of baggage claim outside door exits 7 - 13, and terminal 3 on level zero on the west side for domestic travelers and on the east side for international travelers.

  Rent a Car

  

  Passengers can rent cars upon arrival at McCarran airport at the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center. See the full list of car rental companies here. The Center is located three miles from the airport, but free blue and white shuttles operate between the airport to the center regularly. 

  The shuttle picks up passengers from two spots: in terminal 1 on level 1, outside doors 10 and 11, and in terminal 3, level zero, west doors 51 - 54 and east doors 55 - 58.

  Rideshare

  

  Passengers are able to order ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft upon arrival at the airport. 

  These services are able to pick up passengers from two locations: terminal 1, level 2 of the parking garage (from baggage claim, take the elevator near door 2 up to level 2, then cross the pedestrian bridge on level 2 to the terminal 1 parking garage), and terminal 3, valet level (from baggage claim, take the elevator near doors 52, 54 or 56 up to level 1, cross the pedestrian bridge on level 1 to the terminal 3 parking garage).   Public bus

  

  Public buses are available for passengers to catch upon arrival at the airport. The following buses operate from terminal 1: Route 108 - Paradise, Route 109 - Maryland Parkway, and the Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) route. The terminal 1 bus stop is located on level zero. To get there from baggage claim, take the elevator down one level, exit the terminal building and cross the pedestrian crossing to the right, where the RTC bus stop is. Additionally, the RTC Paratransit service is available for reservation (visit the RTC web site to make a booking). 

  The following buses operate from terminal 3: Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) and Centennial Express (CX) routes. The terminal 3 bus stop is located at the departures curb on level 2. To get there from baggage claim, take the elevator to level 2 and exit the building. Walk across the pedestrian crossing, and the RTC bus stop is across from door 44.

  Inter-city shuttle services

  

  A number of shuttle services are available for transport into Las Vegas city and surrounding communities. See the McCarran airport website for a list of shuttle companies and click on the links to see shuttle leaving times and rates.

  Get picked up by a friend

  

  Passengers getting picked up from McCarran airport should make their way to the pick up area in terminal 1, which is across the pedestrian bridge from baggage claim on level 1 of the parking garage. Note that this area is for immediate loading only, so cars should wait in Short Term Parking until the passenger has cleared baggage claim (the first 15 minutes are free).
