Gone are the days when supermarkets need to use million-dollar advertising campaigns to get their name out there. Some are going for more of a personal approach in getting the job done, like Walmart North East in Maryland. They have started to use an employee of the branch - Charlene - to pose with different products and then posting her photos on their Facebook page. The pictures are hilarious because Charlene's moody expression is in juxtaposition to her laid-back attitude. The supermarket branch has even started a petition for Ellen Degeneres to host Charlene on her show, and you can sign the petition here.
