This person gets someone to housesit and feed their pets for a week, then they turn around and make up a bunch of charges for the person? Sounds like the cartoonish demands of an entitled person. And even if paying the utilities was part of the deal, which it wasn't, that number is still way too high.
This Redditor left their fate up to the judges of Reddit's r/AmITheA**hole subreddit community. Let's just say that people in the comments section seem to be in agreement that although it's clear that this family was going through some serious trouble, trying to charge your housesitter for utilities is a ridiculous step over the line, and anyone with their head screwed on straight would know that. We hope that the Redditor only continues to ignore these PayPal requests. If this woman actually does try to paint the Redditor in a bad light on Facebook or wherever, there is no way they can dress this up as anything beyond what it looks like: entitlement.
It's impossible to understand what's going on in the heads of entitled folks with audacious demands.
