Last January, comedian Kyle Kinane posted this tweet, and got an interesting response from Pace Salsa.
As it turns out, Pace's Twitter account has a bot that is meant to auto-respond to any tweet that mentions their brand.
Success! It'll respond to anything!
Time to endorse competitors for the lulz.
Hooooooooooieeeee! This kinda thang ain't gon' look good ta the board a' directers, I tell yew whut!
"Technical problems." Riiight...
Then Pace contacted Kinane directly...
You're doing God's work, son.
Blackmail? This could get ugly...
I mean, who didn't have a crush on Winnie Cooper back in the day?
Wait a minute... Miles has been "sent home early?"
That isn't like a euphemism for "taken out back and shot" is it?
If you've hurt Miles and Eric, I swear to God...
"WENT HOME EARLY?" THAT MIGHT AS WELL BE CODE FOR "SLEEPING WITH THE FISHES!"
Pray for Miles, everyone.
After all was said and done, Campbells (Pace's parent company) tweeted this...
Yeah freakin' right, Campbells...
Twitter user Nick Nafploistisfosiflopsdjflk gets it. Campbells, hopefully you're not as full of s**t as your salsa is.
