Wyatt Duncan takes us on a journey of really not great wax figures that are presumably somewhere right now, moldering away in people's basements and love dungeons. Judging by how many creepy wax figures we've seen, it must be really hard to do this correctly. For some insight on why these are so creepy, here's a tumblr thread on the uncanny valley aspects of why unrealistic animation is less unsettling than realistic animation.
