Woman Creates The Purrfect Living Room For Her Cats

In the past, we've seen a good handful of people creating little worlds within our world for their beloved pets and it's never not magical.

So when we came across this article in the Dodo about a woman who created a purrfect living room environment for her cats, you know we were intrigued! And when we say purrfect, we definitely mean it! Meet Leeta and Lyla, two adorable cats with one really creative mom, Tatiana Givenchy. What started out as a fun DIY, crafting a tiny couch by crocheting, turned into this elaborate project that is now the absolutely cutest kitty living room ever!

Here is Tatiana working on the project that started it all! A couch for her cats.

"The cat couch had been on my list [of projects] years ago, so I went for it," Givenchy told The Dodo.

Once the tiny couch was completed, both cats immediately gravitated to it but Tatiana herself felt something was missing.

This little couch inspired Tatiana to give the space and her cats a little bit more.

And here is the final result! With tiny furnishings Tatiana has gathered over the years, she created the most adorable kitty space imaginable! Just look how cozy that area looks, makes us wish we were cats and hanging out there too.

And in strange news, Tatiana believes that because of the new living room space being especially for the cats, that the cats seem to have more appreciation for it and don't knock over any of their items or furnishings.

This is quite interesting! Perhaps cats knocking things off counters is because it doesn't belong to them. Or maybe they just knock things over because it's tacky and they hate it. Or! They just imagine knocking things down. In any case, we're surprised and delighted to hear that Leeta and Lyla have been keeping it quite orderly in their new space!
