Oh... cats and dogs. A battle as old as time. Two animals so incredibly different in behavior that everyone thinks they could never get along. That assumption makes sense. If you've ever studied the way that cats and dogs behave, you would have seen that the same body language cue from one would mean the opposite to the other. For one, extreme tail wiggles are very positive, and for the other, extreme tail wiggles mean you have to get away or the murder-mitten will be put into action.
But that's not true for all cat and dog pairs. Some of them do learn each other's behavior over time and become best of friends. And because of how different they are, when they do become friends, it is extra adorable. So, here are some adorable best buddies for your heart-fluttering entertainment right here.
One doesn't need to look further than the closeness between these two to know that they are absolute best friends. That level of comfort is difficult to find in human relationships, but for cats and dogs, being from completely different species, to be able to be this close with each other and this calm, is an indicator of true love.
Same for this pair. Look at how much this cat trusts this dog - on its side, belly almost up, back to the pupper. If a cat does this to you, you feel honored, as you should be. And it doing it to the dog is the biggest sign of trust. And for cats, trust of this caliber is nothing but pure love.
