Stray Cat In Turkey Brings Her Sick Kittens To Vets For Help

There's no love like a mother's love! And that just continues to be more apparent and true with each passing day.

In a hospital in the Karabaglar district in Izmir, Turkey, the staff often feed a pregnant stray cat and they weren't aware she had given birth until she came straight up to them carrying her kitten. Let's call it mother's intuition, when it comes to making sure your little one is safe, parents' instincts will naturally kick in. And that doesn't matter if you're not human, as we can tell from this amazing story.

In an incredible video currently making noise on social media, this stray mother is filmed carrying her kittens into the vet. In the beginning, veterinarians in Izmir didn't understand the stray cat's motive. The stray cat had brought them a kitten one day, and another one the following day, said to be constantly meowing.

This story might be far-fetched but it's not the first time a stray cat has brought her kitten into a hospital in Turkey! it wasn't too long ago when we reported on another caring mother who sought help from nearby doctors. Seems like these animals really trust the humans in their country and that thought brings so much happiness to our hearts.

One day later, mama cat brings in another kitten. Staff at the hospital said she was meowing constantly and decided to take a closer look at the kittens.

The doctors and nurses then checked the kittens' upon closer inspection and noticed their eyes were puffy. The kittens were suffering from an eye infection.

The pair were given some drugs and they were able to start opening their eyes.

“We gave them some drugs and they started opening their eyes and later, we transferred them to the veterinary department. It was the first time that an animal walked into our clinic, and it was a very emotional moment for us,” a hospital official said.

According to Daily Sabah, after being treated, the cats were then handed over to the veterinary department from where they were recovered. It is noted that the stray kittens and their mother were put up for adoption later.
