  'Montero (Call Me By Your Name)' by Lil Nas X was released just over a week ago, and the music video is still making tidal waves throughout popular culture. The video is Lil Nas X's recreation of the story of origins, featuring himself as Adam and Eve, before he ascends to heaven. In a plot twist, he pole dances down to hell then gives Satan a naughty little dance.

  The video clip has caused outrage, with religious and conservative people shocked at the things that take place in the catchy song. However, a lot of hilarious memes have come out on Twitter, TikTok and YouTube as fans all over the world use Montero as inspiration for their own comedic reckoning with God or Satan.

  Lil Nas X released a letter written to his fourteen year old self (his real name is Montero Lamar Hill), explaining why he made the video and giving his fans insight into the struggle he underwent when dealing with his sexuality as a teenager.
