We all have those secrets that we can only hope and pray will never come out unintentionally. Some secrets are innocent, like having a hidden sexuality, or a niche hobby. But some secrets are literally incriminating, like fcking somebody you know damn well you shouldn't have fcked, or filming something you know damn well you shouldn't have filmed. Sometimes we spend years hiding these events, and we have to gradually convince ourselves that these stories are forever in the past, but then you get drunk one night and tell someone, and suddenly the secret is not only yours to hide anymore.

Reddit user u/daddydempy asked people to share a secret they know about someone that could literally ruin their life. It seems a lot of people needed to get these secrets off of their chests because there were over 3k responses in less than 24 hours. This sounds almost like a safe space to share these troubling secrets. Hopefully nobody can link the usernames to the user...

A lot of the responses consisted of cheaters, particularly in the military. I would definitely find this troubling if my spouse were to be deployed, but, of course, every case is different. What do we think though? Should these people who witness affairs spill the beans to the respective spouses? Or is it better not to know?
