I don't know about you, but at this time of year, I could always use a little extra motivation. With the end of another arbitrary counting of days in sight, it is very easy to feel like giving up is the most attractive option. Still, we have the last gasp of the holidays to get through, and all the organization and socializing that comes with that. And after that, maybe finally getting our lives together in 2026.

To state the obvious, all of these things can be overwhelming and only encourage our inertia. If we are going to be lazy, then we may as well do it in a way that is enjoyable, and memes are here to facilitate exactly that. Seeing as they expose us to so many different jokes and cultural phenomena, we can even argue that we are doing something to psych ourselves up for what's to come.
