Having a wedding is a big deal. The families throwing it often put a lot of time, effort, and money into planning a seamless event for the guests to enjoy. That being said, do the guests really owe the bride and groom anything more than their attendance? Sure, it is common to have a wedding registry, but should it be conditional?
Sometimes after so much planning and stressing, it's almost inevitable that someone will lose their mind. This is what appears to have happened to this 'Bridezilla' who insisted on her guest buying her items such as designer bags, expensive makeup, basically, anything totaling up to (but no less than) 400$.
Someone shared her list of expectations on Reddit, and not surprisingly, people sure did not approve.
Reddit user u/DexOrangeCounty shared exactly what the unnamed 'bridezilla' wrote so everyone could truly see for themselves. You can tell from the get-go that she is very enthusiastic, but also kind of gives off 'I-haven't-blinked-in-3-years' vibes.
She does not take much time before getting down to business. She is very clear that these gifts are not optional. 'There are no exceptions.'
Has anyone ever been invited to an event that they had to bring so much money to? What is this, a poker game?
