Someone's chopping up some onions in here, man. I swear. These aren't tears from sadness. Just a simple biological response to some fresh cut onions for an afternoon omelette. That's all. Alright, seriously though, this story from Twitter user @thomas___mcfall is making the rounds again, and it serves as quite the powerful example of the importance of not making assumptions about people that you don't know. In this case, the setting is a classroom, and the characters involved are a couple classmates from different corners of the world. One classmate mistakes another classmate's completely genuine niceties for selfishness/insensitivity. It turns out that he couldn't have been more wrong.
