Yes, this meant that a 50-year-old man in this day and age finally learned about quiet quitting and the importance of setting boundaries in the office. This meant prioritizing his family needs more. It also meant ignoring calls from coworkers and upper management over the weekend, delegating responsibilities to others, and pushing back on unrealistic deadlines.

What this man did not anticipate when sharing his story online, however, was that he would be called out for not checking his privilege. At the end of the day, his decades at his company are what contributed to his ability to just shirk his responsibilities without any consequences. It's all easier said when you have that safety net.
