Relationships can end for a multitude of reasons. The timing can be off, the in-laws can be insane, sometimes the sex is just weird. It's natural to part ways with people based on uncontrollable circumstances. However, sometimes we are guilty of making mistakes that either jeopardized our relationship with our partner or our loyalty to ourselves. It's all a part of the learning process, but damn is it annoying to look back and realize you completely messed up.
People are sharing the relationship mistakes they are deeply guilty of making on Reddit, and maybe looking at them will help us avoid them.
It was Reddit user u/iceice9477 who asked people to admit the mistakes they made in their relationships. Most of the time we don't like to admit that we messed up, but we are just human. We all make mistakes, and we can only hope to learn from them for next time.
It's so hard to understand what a relationship really is, and what you deserve. A lot of the time we base our relationships on movies or books, or even worse, our friends' sh*tty relationships. But it just needs to be much more than sex and a few conversations. That is so much below the bar.
