No matter how much knowledge we have about nature, every once in a while, something will shock us and remind us how amazing nature actually is. Whether it's the incredible bonds between animals, whether it's coming across a list of beautiful animals with unusual color mutations, or whether it's something as simple yet as amazing as seeing the way pregnancies look like in nature.
Even thought every birth of an endangered animal is something that we celebrate, the actual is something that we, for whatever reason, haven't thought about very often. But, this viral thread on imgurhas opened our eyes, and has made us have a whole new appreciation for the heartwarming relationships between animal mommas and their babies.

Seeing this frontal view of the pregnancy gives it so much more impact. The way that her body expands in either direction to accommodate the little babies, however there are in there, it must be so difficult to carry herself in this way. Animal mommas are incredibly strong, and we can only hope to be half as strong as they are as well.

Of all the animals in the world, we can very safely say that we have never seen a picture of a pregnant beluga whale before in our lives. It made us realize that we have generally never seen pictures of beluga whale babies. We love how you can see her huge belly under the water, and we can only imagine how awwdorable her tiny babies would be.
