Dozens of its films have won over mainstream audiences with their heartwarming storylines and distinctive style. The internet loves them too, launching countless memes in honor of its culinarily gifted rats or their ...interesting ideas about women's body proportions.
Soft but hyper expressive facial features are also a trademark of its animation, becoming an aesthetic so instantly recognizable that Snapchat released its own copy earlier this month. The 'Cartoon 3D Style' filter soon spread through Instagram and TikTok as everybody took the chance to be a part of their own mini movie. Opinions have differed on whether the effect is cute or pretty creepy, but the one thing that remains undeniable is that using it in inappropriate scenarios is both creative and very funny. Pixar execs, take note.
