Being plugged in all the time can feel exhausting. Especially when you scour the internet for content for 40+ hours a week. The number of hours I've spent being systematically poisoned by TikTok are staggering. I have to delete Instagram daily to regain some semblance of real-life sanity. After the work is done, there's one exception to my "unplugging" ritual - and that's Twitter. For all the political diatribes and thirst traps, there's hundreds of hilarious tweets and memes being pumped out every hour. Sure, some of the jokes are recycled as hell, but a lot of them are clever jokes based on current events and relatable experiences. Instead of making me want to throw my phone against the wall, the witticisms of the best minds of Twitter are able to turn my mood around. For the better.
