According to Love Meow, a friendly pregnant cat showed up outside the home of a resident in Arizona, begging for food and shelter. The homeowner, Sandy, immediately noticed the cats' huge belly and realized that she was pregnant. Once Sandy opened the door for her, the cat - later named Jade - came right in without hesitating.

A few days later, not one, but five whole kittens were born inside Sandy's home. Knowing that she couldn't keep them and wanting the best outcome for them, Sandy called a local rescue - Jin's Bottle Babies to get help. A fosterer of the rescue, Jen, took all those kittens with open arms, saying: "When I went to pick them up, the cat mom walked right up to me for chin scratches."

The mom cat settled in very quickly. "Besides being one of the best mamas, she's also just a very sweet girl. If the babies weren't nursing, she got up and followed me around chirping," Jen added. Hunter was the biggest kitten of the bunch with the most adorable large paws. He's brave, vocal, adventurous and a total momma's boy.

Jade was a purrfect mom to her five babies, rushing to them when they called for her and showering them with affection. Still, it took Jade a while to adjust to being an indoors cat. In the beginning, "was once wary of furniture and would sleep on the floor despite how much she wanted to snuggle with her humans."

But, over time, her confidence grew, she got used to her new environment, and let Hunter play and be his hooligan self calmly. "Hunter's favorite toy is Jade's tail. I always try to send kittens home with their favorite toy if possible, and in this case, Hunter would be getting his wish," Jen said.

Amazingly, it didn't take long for the right adoptive family to come along. They fell in love with Jade and Hunter and took them to their forever home together. As for the other four kittens, Jen hoped that they would be adopted in pairs together, but something even better ended up happening. "I was expecting the first approved adopter to pick the pairs for me. I never imagined that the adopter would say, 'Four please.'"

"They came with a touch of luck all along, from Jade finding the perfect person to take her in, to having a safe birth, to Hunter going with his most favorite Jade to their forever home, and to all four of the other kids finding their home together," Jen shared with Love Meow.

Now, Hunter rules his new household while Jade puts up with his shenanigans lovingly. "These two have always made me laugh, the little comedy duo. Liam is going to be a barnacle on Jade's butt for life — an adorable little barnacle," Jen said. "I'm so excited this girl chose the house she did, and then was able to make her way to us. Now, she can retire from motherhood and be a pampered house princess for a very lucky family."
