There are no victimless crimes, or at least that is what the powers that be would have us believe. You have to wonder if people who commit illegal acts sometimes get into a moral dilemma about this conundrum. What is the effect that this action is going to have on somebody's life? And is there such a thing as criminal damage control?
A recent viral video has revealed that petty crime can indeed have a conscience, even if it looks kind of absurd. TikToker @katie.regan revealed that her car had been broken into, and her wallet stolen — but the thief had taken out her vaccine card and left it on the seat for her.
Although it might seem like a strangely thoughtful gesture, many commenters shared that they had experienced similar things with thieves being unexpectedly considerate when committing their crime. A few even went as far as calling the gesture 'cute' and even suggesting that Katie had been flirted with. While that particular motive might seem far fetched, it certainly seems like she had an encounter with a perpetrator who had a conscience. You don't need money when you've still got your health, right?
