We knew that we were always worried for good reason. Theoretically, we knew that there are things out there that could hurt them, even if we never thought about it in depth. Reading these stats about their survival only confirms our fears. But we still want to be able to give them the ability to go outside, so finding this thread really felt like a gem we had to share with everyone.

That is actually good to know too. Not only because it it yet another reason to not just let them out irresponsibly, but also because now we know that cats are destructive everywhere, not just our homes. Really, a broken vase every once in a while is worth it if letting them out would destroy so many other things. Adopt, people, and keep adopting lol. -
