It seems that American tourists stick out like a sore thumb whenever they hop into a new environment. This isn't necessarily a good or bad thing but it's pretty much undeniable. Too many things are way too distinct: Our accents, our fashion choices, our inability (or rather unwillingness) to speak a second language. Yep, we've definitely got a reputation.
We must have some redeeming factors though. We have pretty good burgers. Though we read somewhere that burgers are actually german. But actually, fun fact, German chocolate cake is actually American. We bet you didn't know that before. See! The US has so much to offer.
