It's true that you can pretty much fry literally anything. But that doesn't always mean you should. There are some fried foods that our deteriorating arteries balk at, and they include deep fried chocolate bars, fried butter, and now, chicken fried eggs.
The video features TikToker @pepperbellypete, a burly man in an admirable outfit of a camouflage t-shirt, acid-washed overalls, a cowboy hat, and, most astonishingly - a armband of small hot sauce bottles. He's basically the Thanos of Southern cooking. Pete seems like a super cool dude, but the idea of an egg coated in crispy fried chicken batter proved to be too much for some Twitter users to handle. Others simply took advantage of the opportunity to make clever jokes or admire the hot sauce holster. Having indulged in somewhat similar treats like Scotch eggs or tempura poached eggs, we'll admit that this egg probably tastes good. But we're willing to bet that having one for breakfast every day could kill a person.
It looks like dude repurposed one of these to make the hot sauce one pic.twitter.com/UHcajMXjj3— B (@BrendanLLM) October 9, 2021

Man poached an egg in grease and then battered it and fried it! And to top it off he pulled the hot sauce out of his “you ain’t got to get ready if you stay ready” hot sauce holster wristband!— Mr. Fall Risk Bracelet (@nregib) October 9, 2021
