Font - Font - shinkouhyou · 20h Best: An old guy and his daughter would come to the restaurant I worked at every Sunday afternoon, and the old guy would flirt... because he had dementia and thought I was his dead wife (who had been a waitress when they first met). The daughter always left fat tips, too. Worst: Every other time a client flirted with me.

Font - Important_Bee8475 · 20h · edited 20h I used to work as bar staff and people would leave their number at the end of the night as they were leaving with a, message if you feel like it, that was fine. Also had guys who asked me out at the start of the night then got pissy when I said no and spent the rest of the night scowling at me/loudly complaining. If you have to ask someone out at work make it when you're leaving and there's no pressure.

Font - Best: He was flirtatious and very complimentary but didn't say anything really bad. Later on one of his colleagues was pretty lit and tried grabbing me by the waist to turn my body towards him. The original guy jumped up and told him to knock it off, I heard him ask what the f was wrong with him as I walked away too. Having someone stand up for me was very much appreciated but the best part, honestly, was the $1000 tip. I suspect they would have tipped well regardless but probably not tha

Font - peachy_unicorn · 20h Worst experience was when a male customer would not stop asking for my number and as I was walking by his table I accidentally spilled a tiny bit of ranch on his shoe. He got very angry, but he stopped asking for my number.

Font - 19FiftyNine · 19h Best: Regular customers that would wait for me to have an open table, rather being seated in someone else's section. Worst: Creep old guy I had waited on earlier in the evening, waiting outside for me at closing, to give me roses.

Font - Font - stripycrisis132 - 16h Worst: I used to work in a pub collecting glasses and one night I took an empty glass off a guys table and he started flirting with me so I just walked away but for the rest of the night every time he saw me he started shouting stuff at me and trying to grab me. It ended with him grabbing me round the waist and not letting go so one of the staff came and tried to get him off and he still wouldn't so another member of staff who wasn't actually on shift, just dr

Font - Organism - AvocadoBitter7385 · 16h Worst: the entire time when I was 16-17 working at a restaurant where I'd tell men I'm underaged and they wouldn't care at all. I had a guy legit come back to the restaurant multiple times specifically for me Best: when I worked at a mall downtown and the owner of multiple complexes in said mall asked me on a date

Font - Best: big tips Worst: favorite regular left a love letter that he origami'd into a heart. It was awkward after that. Weirdest: old man took my hand and gave it kisses up to the elbow. It never got too bad. Mostly I'd just get numbers and sometimes creepy comments left on receipts.

Font - Ok_Cranberry_2936 · 14h Best: guy comes in with a 12 top of people aged 15 to 22. I like to joke with high schoolers since I'm young, guy asked me for my number early on and I said I'd think about it. He had every single one of his friends give a 2 min presentation on why I should give him my number.

Font - Worst: guy came in, flirted with me a lot. I go out with a friend and turns out he's my server. My friend writes my number on the check and he never texts me, no biggie. He comes back to eat where I work. Asked me for my number in front of his parents saying he turned the receipt in. Never texted me. Now I awkwardly see him like every other week with his parents and last time he said "brooo what's up"

Font - cmk467 · 14h Best: the ones who don't get offended and move on when I say no thanks to their advances. Worst: old guys who flirt in front of their wives, show you pictures of their son who is near your age, ask if you're married (I am) then have the gall to ask "but happily married?" as if that matters.
