Social media has been one of the best and worst things to ever happen to fast food chains. On the one hand, they get people making exposés on food, hygiene standards and working conditions nearly every day; on the other, they are gifted with the kind of advertising potential that money can't buy. The customer isn't just always right, they can be great for brand recognition.
This was proved by a TikTok from @savageprincessz, who gave Burger King its moment in the sun with her pop punk inspired song about buying fries for her "Burger Queen". A simple tune asking for the order to be vegan and include honey mustard, it soon became an earworm that was subject to numerous remakes and remixes — including a satisfyingly emo version by @itslildevo.
With its catchy melody and copypasta-ready lyrics, it's no surprise that the tune has received such a warm response. However, it also brings with it an important question. If you're in a relationship, who's the Burger King and who's the Burger Queen?
