    We brought him to the vet: no microchip, not neutered, about 77 lbs and roughly a year old. We got him his shots and we gave him a bath at home. Our own dog passed away four months ago, so we weren't thinking about getting another.

    We reached out to a nearby German Shepherd rescue, but they weren't able to take in any new dogs. We also realized how rare his temperament is, so we adopted him. Since we found him in a park, we named him Parker.
