Tumblr Thread: The Debate Over "Is Honey Truly Vegan" Rages On

Making perfectly ethical dietary decisions is hard. Most people who refuse to eat meat on ethical grounds bring up the reasonable claim of "I like animals and hurting them makes me feel bad" which is their choice to make. But things aren't so simple when it comes to products made by animals themselves, and it becomes less clear still when it comes to bees. The claim of "is it ethical to steal the labor of bees" has a whole lot of twists and turns. Naturally, the people of tumblr took the idea and ran it into a wall, specifically with the whole hilariously dumb "bee centrifuge" thing.
