Here at ICan HasCheezburger, we believe that adoption is a very beautiful and special thing to do for a pet that has been abandoned. Whether it is a cat, a dog, a bird, or any other kind of species, nothing is more wholesome and awwdorable than seeing a newly adopted animal being showered with love and affection by its new hoomans and forever home! That's why every week, we highlight different but equally incredible transformations, the amazing transformations that take place for an animal before being adopted, and after…

These joyous transitions from fear to love in the eyes of a pet can occur even in a relatively short amount of time! Honestly, we get emotional sometimes seeing the sheer joy on an animals face after being adopted and taken into a loving home for several months. As you scroll through these photos, it's easy to see for yourself that these pawsome cats and dogs have received what in many ways is a second chance at life. It just goes to show that the power of love goes a heckin' long way!

Awww, we're so happy to see that this awwdorable kitty underwent a total transformation. From not enjoying being touched, to becoming a total cuddle monster, this cat is oh so cute and adorable. We're so happy this story had a very happy ending.
