The Trash Dove has been flocking from around the internet in an effort to knock Roll Safe from its throne as the meme of February.
The "purple dove sticker" was added to Facebook at the beginning of the month and, after invading every comment thread there, it has flown around the internet.

The Facebook Stickers
Among these stickers was the famous version of the newly-beloved bird which involves the purple pigeon-dove-thing thrashing its head wildly back and forth. Just looking at it gives me whiplash.
According to Know Your Meme, the dove first went viral in Thailand after emerging on Facebook, which prompted the artist to create this picture of thanks to the Thai fanbase.
After spreading its way around Facebook the purple birb thrashed its way around the internet, giving rise to numerous iterations and an uncountable amount of images and GIFS.
Trash Dove worked its way into many existing memes and situations as well as finding its own original niche.
Will Trash Dove dominate the second half of February? Or have its flight cut short by the brutal birdshot that is the collective attention deficit of the internet?
