Mother-In-Law Steals Ring, Falls Victim To Its Fake Curse

It wouldn't occur to most of us to get back at our snooping in-laws by making up a story about a curse. Most of us would just say "don't steal my things lady" or change the locks. But that fact that she believed it, and that something bad actually happened is absolutely excellent. Gotta love it when fake curses come through in your favor. For another weird mother-in-law story, here's the craigslist ad seeking a wedding date for a Karen mother-in-law.

The reason you were worried about the jeweler is because some jewelers will steal rings and swap them out for fake stones. And you didn't know how honest the jeweler was because you didn't know them at all. I'll bet she chokes on her own lies rather than admit she stole it to steal it.
