Font - Top Fan Sara Lang My friend took their dog to the vet because they thought the pooch might have swallowed her keys. Their son was so infatuated with the x-ray that he asked the doctor to x-ray his teddy bear. One of the nurses had a heart ornament and placed it to show up on the film like the bear had a heart inside of it. The little boy absolutely LOVED it! She has photos and film of the car ride home with his head pressed against the bears chest trying to hear the heartbeat. ODS 213 Lik

Whatever you may think about the doctor doing an x-ray for a stuffed animal logistically, you cannot deny that this was an adorable thing to do for the kid. This kind of positive experience and positive attitude is what we all need every single day. This boy might become a doctor one day because of this, and wouldn't that be an amazing story for him to tell?

Oh my goodness, thank you for providing this absolutely iconic picture. We can just imagine the relief on the son's face when he realized that his lil baby would be fine. Had we been the parents, we would have been sitting there and smiling like idiots. Aah, this is too wholesome.

Rectangle - Liz Dahne When I was little I had a Care Bear (Funshine) that had a small string hanging from her mouth, so obviously that was a tooth. Yes, I took her to the dentist with me to get it cleaned, and yes, they did it. OSD 16 Like Reply · Hide Message 2d

Font - Melissa Wessel Faith Penewell I used to bring bear with me as I was in the hospital alot. He always got his own ID bracelet and bandaids plus he got a sticker like me for being brave. He even got to have a CAT scan with me. I think they x rayed his paws too the first time I had to have my hands x rayed to show me there was no reason to be scared. I even had one nurse I preferred doing my blood work. They looked ALLLLLLover the hospital for that lady for some times they go above and beyond

Head - Meredith Leblanc Cute that the vet did that just for fun. It also proves that the vet charging $200 for an x-ray is complete BS. 30 Like · Reply · Hide · Message 2d
