Font - Debra Fisher I had a cat that had a thing for warm baths. We couldn't keep her out of them. The kids would start to fill the tub up, walk away, and return to find Scarlet O'Hairy standing in the bathwater with a blissful look on her face. "MOM! SCARLET'S IN MY BATH AGAIN!" I can't tell you how many times I heard that before I convinced the kids to shut the bathroom door so she couldn't get in. Then she took up standing in our misting sprinklers in the side yard. She must have been part Tu

Honestly, after seeing the way that our basic run-of-the-mill cats react to water, reading stories like this is all the more incredible to us. It's like our brains refuse to accept it. No way in heck do cats actually react like this. And yet, they do, and we have to live the dream vicariously through you.

Facial expression - Theodore Celen I only bathed my cat once. After we pulled her from a sewer at 2 weeks of age so we could pick the fleas off one by one. After that she baths herself 33 Like · Reply Hide Message 3d

One of the only acceptable reasons ever to give a cat a bath in our humble opinion. Some people try too hard, think that they need to treat cats like dogs and give them baths, when in reality, for the most part, it's unnecessary. Clearly, it was necessary here, and we thank you for helping this little furbaby.

Mammal - Susan Foreman Hall I have only once in my life tried to bath a cat for fleas when I was a teenager. I grew much smarter after that. You should not bath a cat and I cannot imagine one ever sitting in a tub. 11 Like · Reply · Hide Message - 3d

Rectangle - Trinity Marshall Why would you bathe a cat? They are self cleaning and should only be bathed for showing or on vets advice. Traumatising cats by trying to bathe them can be fatal. 16 Like Reply Hide Message 2d

Font - Victoria Persephone If the cats go outside they'll occasionally need baths, u never know what they'll encounter. I had a friend whose kitten was completely enamoured with playing in his litterbox so he needed frequent baths. He eventually grew out of it but it was a messy first year. Fortunately he was very cooperative. Like · Reply · Hide Message 2d

Font - Martha Cuthill I've never bathed any of my cats. The were indoor/outdoor cats. Never had fleas. They rolled around in the garden and I brushed them regularly and wiped their wet feet if they were out in the rain or snow, but that's all I did. They did the rest. Bathing cats tends to dry their skin out, is what I heard. Like Reply Hide Message 3d
