It's amazing how far communication technology has come in our lifetimes. It seems like one day, you're waiting for your crush to come on AIM in the family computer room and the next, you're being tormented by the WhatsApp refresh notification as you wait for a text back.
It's fair to say that many of us take our technological accessibility for granted these days, and it led @cameron_kasky to question how people used to distract themselves before the instantaneous world of texting.
There are few things Twitter users enjoy more than a trip down memory lane, so people were all-to-happy to recount how they used to live before having the curse of being available any time, anywhere. Looking back, it sure sounds like a lot of effort. At least it's fun to romanticize, though.
