Hi friends, we hope you're having a delightful day! Today we have a dino-riffic story straight from the Texas State Parks. Two giant brontosaurus statues there, named Rex and Bronto, respectively, were all ready for winter. But something was missing, they didn't have anything to protect them from the cold snow! Thankfully volunteers from all over stepped up, and knitted two massive scarves to keep the long long necks of Rex and Bronto warm all winter long. How wholesome is that?

The Dinosaur Valley State Park, a park with the preserved footsteps of dinosaurs, has a special annual tradition where they cloak these awwdorable dinosaurs in warm winter scarves. This year, they put out a Facebook post, asking for help getting their favorite dinosaur statues some warm winter clothing.
Honestly, if we had to take a guess, we wouldn't be so sure that it would be possible to get these scarf pieces from just any volunteers. We for one would be nervous asking so many people to volunteer, weren't they worried that they wouldn't get enough pieces of knit material?
