It all started with a call to action...
The Dinosaur Valley State Park, a park with the preserved footsteps of dinosaurs, has a special annual tradition where they cloak these awwdorable dinosaurs in warm winter scarves. This year, they put out a Facebook post, asking for help getting their favorite dinosaur statues some warm winter clothing.

The park asked volunteers to knit or crochet 10 inch scarf sections, which they would piece together for the dinosaurs.
Honestly, if we had to take a guess, we wouldn't be so sure that it would be possible to get these scarf pieces from just any volunteers. We for one would be nervous asking so many people to volunteer, weren't they worried that they wouldn't get enough pieces of knit material?

In response, tons of people lent a hand making beautiful knitted rectangles to form scarves for both dino necks.

Let's take a look at these amazing scarves, and these amazing dinos!
