One of the many things that gets worse when you get to be an adult is festive gifting. What was once a Santa-led wonderland is now a guarantee of "practical" presents of things you're too irresponsible or broke to buy yourselves and the stress of purchasing gifts for the rest of your friends and family. Worse still, sometimes you have to shell out for people you don't even like.

    Font - litebrite09 13h My husband and I bought my parents dog a silicone pig that squeaks/oinks. It is that golden retrievers prized possession. She is so gentle with it but occasionally will make it squeal when she picks it up. My dad threatened us with a drum kit once we have kids if we ever bought anything equal to that pig again. (Apparently the sound of the squeal when they're dead asleep nearly has given them a few heart attacks)
