It's important to remember that sometimes movies aren't real life. A guy getting rejected at a bar and then showing up at a woman's house with a boombox at 3 am is just gonna result in the cops being called. Living on ramen isn't scrappy or fun, and being in the mob isn't a good career move for almost anyone. Here are some things that people might take more seriously if it actually happened to them. I was only diagnosed at age 27 and until receiving diagnosis and treatment, it was a major source of severe anxiety and depression, made school 1000x more difficult, and damn near got me fired from my job a couple years ago.
