I'm going to have to say that this sounds like a good bit of fun. Having worked retail in the past it would have been a blast to give something like this a crack.
There were several moments where an entitled customer would try to complain about a company policy or stock availability and "Ask to speak to my manager." At which point I would get to point to the little text at the bottom of my name badge that read "Store Manager" and go "Yeah, that's me. What can I help you with?" Moments like that made it worth it.
I digress, I don't think these kids are in the wrong here but I agree that it could get a little awkward for the owner when the reviews start rolling in.
